辊子一般采用无缝钢管制成，也有用铸铁管或其他材料制造的，辊子轴固定在支架中。辊子与轴之阀装有滚动轴零。铸造车间常用的辊子有三种：轻型（Φ73）、中型（Φ105）和重型（Φ155）。其中前两种用的较多。
