PVC- U管材使用过程中的脆性***现象

PVC-U管材在使用过程中发生的脆性***主要原因可总结为以下四点：

1 .气锤的影响：

PVC-U管材使用时，未能排净管路内空气或排气阀设置不当，管路内存在气体时，易使管路内产生气囊，管道中的气囊虽然不能直接造成水锤，但可借助水锤造成危害。

在正常情况下，管道中的水流可近似地看成是恒定流（压力、流速、温度不变）。在这种状态下，水中的气体要逐渐地析出，形成大小不等的气泡上升到管壁，气泡按水流流速向前运动。在上坡段，由于浮力的作用，气泡流速可能大于水流速。因管壁有一定粗糙度，各气泡运动方向相同，很难聚集成大气泡。小气泡沿管壁一定宽度向前流动，经过高点排气阀时，排气管直径内的气泡有条件排出，而其他气泡靠水流的推力向下游流去。由于管壁处的紊流和流速和切线特性，使一些经过排气管的小气泡越过排气孔也向下游流去。

越过排气阀的气泡顺坡而行，运动方向与气泡所受浮力的分力方向相反，这个浮力合力产生的阻力，必然使气泡运动的速度减慢，后序气泡容易撞击前面气泡而全成大气泡。气囊能引起爆管，是由于快速开关阀门或水泵起停，使管道出现了大的压力增值，气体的可压缩特性，使应力集中到气囊产生高压而爆管。

2 .划痕的影响：

安装、运输过程中，对PVC-U管材表面造成了划痕、磕碰等损伤。

根据脆性***的裂缝理论，这些划痕会使应力集中于划痕处，而远高于管材受到的平均应力，当此应力达到并超过某一临界值时，裂缝会发生扩展，由于PVC-U为脆性材料，裂缝扩展速度很快，造成脆性***。
