旧式灰铸铁沟盖板必须在施工排水井之前预埋铁件，然后在沟盖板上之前安装一条铁链，打开井盖时不方便操作而且预埋铁件与铁链容易断开、容易人为剪断失去防盗功能；

防盗沟盖板采用暗闩形式，该暗闩由固定孔及弹簧轴和推力固定卡连接开启时需专用提锁插入并顺时针旋转90°使锁闩退出提取盖板上并不需提手锁可自动锁好简单、牢固、可靠。
