SHO Fine Jewellery reports highlights of London Jewellery                                                                                                                                                                                                                    2010 - SHO Fine findweek Jewellery said highlights at London Jewellery Week this month included participating at Treasure, which showcased the latest work of jewellery designers; an exhibition/private view at ethical jewellery retailer Leblas; and being selected for the young designer programme with QVC, culminating in designs being filmed by BBC TV.

Treasure was fantastic for us,” reported Sarah Ho of SHO Fine Jewellery.  “We sold several pieces during the exhibition and made new contacts both within the trade and directly with new customers.”

    One attraction at the stand was a replica of the Pearly Prince Elephant which is currently on display at Coutts in the Strand, London.  As part of their involvement with the Elephant Parade, they also sold a number of elephant bracelets, proceeds of which will go to the charity.  

As part of London Jewellery Week, QVC worked with 4 young jewellery designers, commissioning them to design specifically for the QVC customer and guiding them through the production process.  “This was an amazing opportunity for us,” said Sarah Ho.
 
 “The experience for us, as a relatively new company in the jewellery world, was invaluable and we are delighted that the QVC customer loved our pieces too as they started placing orders immediately.”

The SHO ‘hero’ piece for QVC, made to order, was a 9ct gold pendant set with a pearl inspired by the London Eye, which sold very well and was an advance order piece.
