• Regarding Nichia’s patent:
1) Intematix Phosphor is non-aluminates based phosphor.
2) Eu2+ doped luminescent materials, not covered by the claims of the ‘925 patent based on Ce doped YAG materials.
• Regarding Osram’s patents:
1) Particle size (D50) 6 to 20mm, out of the D50 ~5mm claimed by the ‘780 patent.
2) Eu2+ doped materials, not covered by the claims of the ‘500 patent based on Ce doped Garnet (YTb)3(AlGa)5O12:Ce3+, Thiogallates (CaSr)Ga2S4:Ce3+, Orthosilicates M2SiO5:Ce3+ (M:Sc and Y).
• Regarding LWB / Tridonic / Toyoda Gosei patent
1) The above patent do not meet the legal requirements that the claims must be clear and enabled by the specification.
2) Intematix includes c***tituents other than those specifically identified in the claims.
3) The additional c***tituents (F, Cl, S, N..) in substitution of oxygen sites within Intematix phosphors enables their enhanced performance.
