变压器内部短路包括线圈内部匝间或线圈与铁心之间发生短路。发生此类故障时,会出现变压器发热现象,同时,变压器次级线圈输出电压也会出现失常,且伴有烧交流0.5A***管等现象,这时通常采用测量次级空载电压的方法可以确定短路发生的部位。检测时,首先用万用表测量各次级绕组的空载电压,若电压均高于正常值,则说明是初级绕组存在短路;若某一个次级绕组的空载电压比额定值明显降低,则说明该绕组存在短路故障;若各次级绕组空载电压基本正常,则说明是静电屏蔽层存在短路。也可以用万用表电阻挡测量各绕组直流电阻的方法来粗略判断发生短路的部位,有短路故障绕组的电阻值较正常值要低,但轻微短路不容易判断。实际检修中发现,变压器次级线圈的电压偏低,导线较粗,发生短路的情况较少见,故障一般发生在初级线圈。
